I'LL MISS ......
It'll be over a few more hours. This has been a memorable trip so far ..... not a perfect one but memorable one nonetheless. Got to learn a whole lot of things from this trip and as they say it ... it was an eye opener in a true sense. When I finally leave Tubingen tomorrow evening, I'll miss the following things the most:
The life of a "Full-time Researcher" :)
Spemannstrasse 38 ( address of Max Planck Institute of Biological Cybernetics)
Walking down Philosophenweg and staring at the distant Swabian hills and the green carpet of vegetation
The clean and empty roads :)
Planning weekend trips to some of the greatest places in the world!!
The Deustche Bahn
Getting up at 3am on weekends to catch the first train out of Tubingen
Reading "Rough Guide to Germany" for a definite purpose :)
Hefe-Wiezen ..... made me fall in love with beer .... makes all other beer taste like dog piss !!! :)
Riesling .... didn't have enough time in France to get a proper feel of wine ... so its the German Riesling that I vote as the best I have had so far.
Liking tasteless, non-spicy food :)
A supervisor like Chris .... thanks man ... for giving this wonderful opportunity :)
Having dinner in a banquet hall with a nobel laureate and the director of Max Planck Society sitting in the opposite table!!
Explaining my ideas to world renowned scientists
Attending talks that takes scientific understanding to a new level
Listening to Nikos, as he effortless juggles between mathematics and biology to explain very complicated stuff
Kishore,Jhawar and Luthra
The barebacks, miniskirts and tattoos :)
And finally .... bumping onto a cute lady and being told sorry with a smile in return!!! :)
